At Kusala Healing Arts, we proudly offer the Warriors at Ease (WAE) program — a trauma-sensitive, meditation-based resource created for veterans, active and reserve-duty service members, and their families. Rooted in mindfulness, somatic awareness, and integrative healing practices, this program supports emotional balance, stress reduction, and resilience.

Developed specifically for the military community, WAE provides culturally informed tools that are practical and easy to integrate into daily life. Whether you’re navigating trauma, managing chronic stress, or simply seeking to reconnect with yourself, these practices offer steady, accessible support.

What makes this program unique is its inclusive and adaptable format — no prior experience is required, and all bodies, backgrounds, and belief systems are welcome. At Kusala, WAE is part of a broader healing framework that also includes Chinese Medicine, Hands-on Therapies, Sound Healing, and Glass Art. Within this circle of care, participants are introduced to a range of meditation styles — from Primordial Sound Meditation with personalized bija mantras, to silent practice and guided body scans. Each approach is designed to help you cultivate stillness, reconnect with the breath, and deepen your healing journey.

If you’re ready to explore mindfulness in a welcoming, down-to-earth environment, we invite you to join us.

About the Warriors at Ease Program

The Warriors at Ease (WAE) program at Kusala Healing Arts offers a grounded, body-centered approach to mindfulness, uniquely suited for those navigating the aftereffects of military service. Each session fosters safety, presence, and internal regulation through simple, effective techniques that reconnect you with your breath and physical body.

Sessions may include meditation, sound healing, or gentle movement-based therapies that quiet the mind and ease muscular tension. These tools are especially supportive for those experiencing hypervigilance, disrupted sleep, or chronic discomfort — providing a path toward steadiness that doesn’t rely on force or effort.

What makes WAE especially powerful is its ability to rebuild a sense of agency. By reconnecting with stillness, movement, and self-awareness, participants often discover new ways to navigate everyday stress with clarity and strength. While rooted in mindfulness, the program also reflects a deep respect for the lived experience of veterans — creating a space that is trauma-informed, inclusive, and empowering.

As part of Kusala Healing Arts’ integrative approach, Warriors at Ease complements other offerings such as Chinese Medicine, Hands-on Therapies, and Sound Healing — opening the door to deeper insight and transformation across all layers of being.
