Meet Ryan M. Faught
Ryan M. Faught, LMBT, the heart and soul behind Kusala Healing Arts, has roots stretching from Columbus to Medina, Ohio. A proud veteran, Ryan served with dedication in the United States Marine Corps. During his four-year tenure, he was a HAWK Missile Systems Operator with the 1st LAAM Bn in Yuma, AZ, and later joined the Marine Security Guard Bn in Quantico, VA.
His service also took him across the globe, with postings at the American Embassies in Riyadh, Lisbon, and Paris. In 1998, he concluded his active duty with an honorable discharge and embarked on the path that would lead to the establishment of Kusala Integrative Medicine LLC — first in 2007, and again at a more auspicious moment in 2021.

Why The Healing Arts?
Influenced by a creative and spiritual awakening he experienced while on active duty, Ryan went on to study Fine Arts with a concentration in Glass at Kent State University in Kent, Ohio.
However, his true calling lay elsewhere. Drawn by a deep connection to the Mystery, Ryan left his undergraduate studies early to immerse himself in the healing arts and find his place in the field he grew to love.
Since 1999, he has dedicated himself to mastering his intuitive skills through dreamwork. His journey through understanding his past lives and shamanism led him to study Zen Buddhism beginning in 2002, under the lineage of the late John Daido Loori, Roshi of the Mountains and Rivers Order in Mt. Tremper, NY.
After undertaking Zen Buddhism as a lay practitioner, he pursued a licensed bodywork practice that now integrates John F. Barnes' Myofascial Release Approach® and Hugh Milne's Visionary Craniosacral Work®. In 2021, he began his studies in Chinese medicine at the Jung Tao School of Classical Chinese Medicine.
